In the summer of 2016, during a walk in the German countryside, there was a pop-up on my phone asking if I would like to upload a picture I had just taken to Google Maps. I clicked ‘OK’ not realizing what the consequence would be. This picture (the one shown below) turned out to be my first contribution to Google Maps, but I soon got dragged into the Local Guides program in a very intensive way. By the end of 2018, I had reached Level 10, and by way of new challenge, I decided to use my Local Guide experience to chase another goal I had for a while… creating a podcast.
